GetProfiles processes publicly available commercial data about Businesses to other Businesses. The purpose for this processing is to licence or sell professional business contact information to authorized partners or organisations for marketing and data management purposes, to know who they are doing business with and to better understand organization, industries and markets.
We collect information on businesses and business professionals. This is classified as “Commercial Data” and following are some examples:
Company and business professional contact information, including name, job title, address, phone number, fax number, e-mail address, domain names, and industry sector.
Detailed company profiles and statistics, including number of employees, technologies used.
Background information regarding company management, such as beneficial ownership/persons of significant control, the educational and career histories of company principals.
Business compliance information from public source government and professional records, media and business publications.
GetProfiles do not collect any information in relation to any nationalities date of birth, race or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, trade union membership, health, sex life or sexual orientation, genetic or biometric data.

Professional Social Networks
Governmental and administrative public records such as business registrations, company filings, court and bankruptcy filings.
Indexing publicly available online documents through web crawling.

To Whom We Share Information
We share our Commercial Data (and that may include personal data) we collect with:
Partners – Independent business information providers across the world with whom we have entered into commercial agreements to help achieve a leading competitive position internationally in providing business information.
Customers – businesses and organisations with whom we enter into agreements to licence or access our data for the purposes outlined in our “Legitimate Interest” section.

As required or appropriate in order to protect our website, business operations or legal rights, or in connection with a sale or merger involving GetProfiles assets or businesses. (In the event that GetProfiles is purchased or sells parts or all of the business, the information collected will be considered an asset that can be transferred).
To a court, tribunal administrative authority law enforcement agencies, regulatory authorities or government agencies. If based in a country outside the EU we would only comply with such a request if there was an international agreement (such as a mutual legal assistance treaty) in place.
Personal Information You Provide
Personal Information may include information such as name, contact number, email address, user id, password, place of business information, credit card details and other personal information as may be provided by you on this Website, including but not limited to, the provision of such information by you for the use and/or subscription of one or more of our services provided by us on this Website or otherwise howsoever. We need to know your personal information as this allows us to determine if you are an authorized user of one or more of our services, for which you or your organization has paid a license fee; in order to provide you with all the benefits you are entitled to receive as an authorized user of our services, responding to service or technical problems, providing training and professional services to you, to forward new product information and to perform all other acts with respect to such information as may be necessary for us to provide the services to you. For instance, you may be asked to provide us with your physical and online contact information (e.g. name, address, email address, etc.), particularly if you seek customer support from our help desk. In addition, we may ask for work-related identifying information (e.g. employer, job title, etc.) in order to inform you of service updates. Wherever possible, the information to be provided is optional or mandatory. We shall provide you with the option to not provide information by choosing not to use a particular service. You shall also be given the option to edit your account information and preferences at any time, including whether you want us to contact you about new services. To protect your privacy and security, we shall take reasonable steps to verify your identity before granting access or making corrections. Upon request, we will remove / block your personally identifiable information from our database, thereby cancelling your registration.
We shall use the information collected about you in a number of ways, such as: Customize the content of our Website and the products/services/application provided by us as per your requirement;
Providing you with our Websites and applications for which you have registered, as well as any services, support, or information requested by you;

Customers can also track the total number of reports in the application that are accessed at the user level or accessed by all users within their organization for administrative purposes.

GetProfiles may track and retain information about the computing environment you use to access our Website and products, such as your IP address, browser type or operating system. We collect and analyze this information for the continued improvement of our products, or Website and the services provided by us. For example, tracking the computing environments most frequently used by our customers can help us to accommodate the most appropriate browser types and versions. Additionally, our record of IP addresses that access our products/Website/services allows us to determine the source or cause of error messages that may appear in our Products/Website/Services at any given time, or to assist customers who may be experiencing technical difficulties while accessing GetProfiles services.
The legal bases for Getprofiles's processing of personal data are primarily that the processing is necessary for providing the Service in accordance with GetProfiles’s Terms of Service and that the processing is carried out under the ground of GetProfiles’s “legitimate interest”. GetProfiles legitimate business interest is the supply of commercial data (and the marketing of our business). The purpose is to licence or sell professional business contact information to authorized partners or organisations for marketing and data management purposes, to know who they are doing business with and to better understand organization, industries and markets.
Marketing GetProfiles Services
When you register as a user of GetProfiles you have the option to allow us to contact you about our products and services. In order to evaluate your use of our products/services/applications, GetProfiles may track which functions of our products/services/applications you use most frequently. This information will help us provide you with only the most relevant and useful information about our products/services/applications, as well as suggestions that could enhance your use of our products/services/applications. If you decide at any time that you no longer wish to receive communications from us you may opt out at any time by following the instructions contained within the email or by sending an email to support(@)getprofiles.io, except that you may still receive certain communications from us at the request of your organization. GetProfiles will not share information about your use of our products/services/applications with third parties.
Data Subject Rights
You have the right to request from us confirmation of whether we are processing your personal data, and if so access to that information.
If any of your personal data is inaccurate you have a right to request rectification.
You have the right to object to our processing and/or request it is deleted or restricted.

Subject Access Request
Pursuant to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) individuals (including sole traders and non-limited liability partners) wishing to access their Personal Data (as defined in GDPR) stored at GetProfiles should submit a request with the information in this form to firstname.lastname@example.org. You should receive all the information that has been located and can be released within 28 days.
Right to be Forgotten
You may update, correct, or delete your Account information and preferences at any time by accessing your Account settings page on the Service. You may change your personal information as often as you like and even print out a copy of the personal information for your records. If you wish to access or amend any other Personal Data we hold about you, or to request that we delete or transfer any information about you that we have obtained, you may contact us on support(@)getprofiles.io. At your request, we will have any reference to you deleted or blocked in our database.
California Privacy Rights
California law permits users and customers who are California residents to request and obtain from us, once a year, free of charge, a list of the third parties to whom we have disclosed their Personal Data (if any) for their direct marketing purposes in the prior calendar year, as well as the type of Personal Data disclosed to those third parties. GetProfiles shall provide reasonable administrative, technical, and physical security controls to protect the information provided by you in compliance with all local, state and federal rules, laws and regulations for the time being in force. This includes, for example, firewalls, password protection and other access and authentication controls. We use SSL technology to encrypt data during transmission through public internet, and we also employ application-layer security features to further anonymize Personal Data. However, no security controls are 100% effective and we cannot ensure or warrant that the information and data provided by you will never be disclosed in ways not otherwise described herein. By way of example (without limiting the foregoing), we may be forced to disclose your information or data to the government or third parties under certain circumstances, third parties may unlawfully intercept or access transmissions or private communications, or users may abuse or misuse your information and other data that the third party collects from the use of our Website and our products/services/applications.
If we learn of a security systems breach, we will inform you and the authorities of the occurrence of the breach in accordance with applicable law.
Personal data is stored for varying lengths depending on the nature and purpose for which it was collected. We store personal data in line with any applicable statutory minimum periods, and then review it periodically (usually annually) to ensure it is still necessary to be retained for the purpose for which it was collected. Where there is a statutory maximum for which data can be retained, such as County Court Judgements we will delete accordingly on expiration.

As a subscriber to our services you may decide to visit a third party’s website through a limited number of links available on our Website and with our products/services/applications. Although the GetProfiles branding may still be visible, you will be subject to that third party’s privacy, if one exists. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of third party websites you choose to visit. GetProfiles is not responsible for how that third party may collect or use your personal information.
